Threeways Nursing Home ensures that all staff are trained in the Home’s philosophy and values.  It has its own in-house training team who are able to implement a full training programme including :

• Induction and supervision

• First Aid

• Moving and Handling

• Food Hygiene and Safety

• Safeguarding and Protection of Vulnerable Adults

• Health and Safety

• Fire Safety

• Infection Control

• Equality, diversity and inclusion

• COSHH

• Mental Capacity

• GDPR Stage One

• Care Certificate and further NVQ assessing progression for Health Care Assistants

All staff are offered a further range of training which is relevant to their induction, professional development and nursing skills.  Fifty per cent of Health Care Assistants are trained in either NVQ Level 2 or 3 in care.
