Admission Procedure

When you enquire about a possible residency in our care home, we will send you a brochure and would encourage you or your family to visit us.

Prior to your admission, a pre-admission assessment will be carried out to ensure that we can meet all your nursing needs.

On admission, to make the resident feel that they are moving “home from home”, we encourage relatives and friends to bring in a few familiar possessions.  Every effort will be made to reduce the resident’s anxieties immediately on arrival.

In the first few weeks, staff will have the opportunity to get to know the resident and ascertain their personal needs and preferences to ensure our home is the right fit for them. Care plans will be written and agreed with the resident and their relative(s) so that we are ensuring the resident is at the heart of all we do.
