Day-to-Day Care
Our daily care programme is organised as a response to residents’ individual and combined needs:
At Threeways we provide a varied menu from which residents can make their meal choices.
All residents are encouraged to have their meals in the dining room but equally they may prefer to eat in their rooms. Some residents may need to follow recommendations made by SALT and dietitians that restricts their diet choices. Our residents’ wishes are respected.
We offer a varied programme of leisure activities every month, allowing residents to plan ahead for the activities they wish to attend and they will be encouraged to socialise with others, but the final choice is theirs.
We place each resident at the centre of their care and all there needs there needs to be a degree of structure and routine to manage out home, residents have voice and their wishes for and by completing a detailed care plan, we learn what each resient would like, such as a late breakfast or early night.
We encourage each resident to maintain their individual religious and spiritual beliefs and all the past times they enjoy. We understand everyone is different and unique and respect and embrace diversity.
We encourage residents to meet with others in the ‘Threeways family’; to enjoy the company of their old friends and family, and make new friends as well.
We are able to offer the following services:
Laundry - Laundry services are carried out daily and returned to residents in a timely manner. This reduces the need for large amounts of clothing. We ask that all items of clothing are clearly labelled with your family member’s name.
Hairdressing* - We have a hairdresser who visits every Thursday. If you would like to maintain links with your own hairdresser, they are welcome to continue their visits if preferred.
Religious Services – Religious services are provided twice a month in a setting chosen by each resident bt that in the lounge or their own room. There are different local ministers of various denominations that visit.
Chiropody* – a Chiropodist visits every six weeks or three monthly depending on need.
Physiotherapy* - a physiotherapist visits our home and appointments can be made if required.
