Our philosophy is to look after our Residents in the best possible way, in a home from home environment, creating an atmosphere to meet all nursing, social, spiritual and psychological needs of the individual.

We regard and treat each resident as special. We recognise each person’s right to :

• Voice their opinions and views ensuring open communication

• Make independent choices or support best interest decisions where appropriate.

• Be informed of their condition and gain access to their medical records should they wish.

• Ensure residents have personal space and the ability to close doors and curtains

• Ensure personal information is shared only on a need-to-know basis.

• Ensure staff seek permission before entering a resident’s private space,

• Be given the help and understanding to accept the required treatment

• A homely and safe environment
