Residents Rights
All residents who come to live at Threeways are valued and treated as individuals.
Privacy is most important when living in a communal setting so we strive to help our residents to maintain as much dignity and privacy as possible.
When residents need to use the telephone, open and read post, communicate with friends, relatives and advisers we will make sure that these times are kept as private as possible.
The resident shall have a choice of the type of their accommodation, dependent on availability
The resident/resident’s family shall be fully involved, where possible, in an initial assessment procedure.
The resident/resident’s family shall be involved in case reviews and kept up to date with care programmes in order that, where possible, realistic decisions can be made regarding their care.
The resident shall have the right to a personal “Key worker”. Families shall be notified of the identity of this person.
The resident shall have a right to participate fully in social and recreational activities.
The resident shall have the right to enjoy life to the full in a relaxed, warm, caring environment where physical, social, spiritual and psychological needs are met.
The resident shall have the right to complain and have access to complaints procedure.
The resident has the right to say “No”
The resident has the right to have visitors whenever they want
